What is Extracorporeal Shock Wave Therapy (ESWT)?
ESWT is a fast and gentle non-surgical method of reducing musculoskeletal pain. It is a noninvasive treatment that involves delivery of shock waves to injured soft tissue to reduce pain and promote healing. It is derived from lithotripsy, a technique used today to disintegrate kidney stones without the use of invasive surgery.

The device delivers pneumatically-generated low or high-pressure shock waves that travel through the skin. Inflamed soft tissue and bone calcifications that receive these low or high energy pulses will heal stronger without harm to the surrounding tissues. Electricity is not sent into the body. Spinal Decompression / Spinal Traction

Spinal decompression involves stretching the spine while using a traction table. The goal is to relieve back pain and/or leg pain. Our chiropractor also works to promote an optimal healing environment for bulging, degenerated, or herniated discs.

Spinal decompression is a type of therapy applied to the spine that brings patients many benefits. First, we attempt to create a negative intradiscal pressure to promote retraction or re-positioning of the herniated or bulging disc material. Secondly, we create a lower pressure in the disc that will cause an influx of healing nutrients as well as other substances into the disc.

Ultrasound

Cold Laser Therapy

Cold laser therapy is a treatment that utilizes specific wavelengths of light to interact with tissue and help accelerate your healing process. Cold laser treatment can be used on people suffering from both acute and chronic conditions in order to eliminate pain and swelling, increase functionality, and reduce spasms.

Electrical Muscle Stimulation

We use interferential stimulation the most. Two channels of electrical stimulation create a third current that penetrates the affected tissues with little resistance. This stimulation will help control the pain and muscle contractions.
